Invitation to the 33rd AUN-QA Training Course for Accomplishing Programme Assessment (Tier 1)
The ASEAN University Network (AUN) is an autonomous organisation, established under an umbrella of ASEAN and the mandate of Ministers responsible for higher education in ASEAN countries. The main objective of the AUN is to strengthen the existing network of co-operation among leading universities in ASEAN by developing academic and professional human resources as well as promoting information dissemination among the ASEAN academic community in the form of Thematic Networks.
The ASEAN University Network – Quality Assurance (AUN-QA) was established in 1998 to harmonise educational standards and to seek continuous improvement of academic quality for universities in ASEAN. To strengthen QA development and enhance technical skills among universities in ASEAN, the AUN-QA Secretariat is sharing its resources and experiences to raise the standards of the QA system and also to expand its QA network to non- member universities. With the success brought about by the growing number of AUN-QA training courses held since 2011 in Bangkok, the AUN-QA Secretariat is determined to continue its mission to fulfil the need for QA development in the region.
In this connection, we would like to extend our warm invitation to your delegates to attend the 29th AUN-QA Training Course for Accomplishing Programme Assessment (Tier 1) on 7 - 10 May 2019 at Pathumwan Princess Hotel, Bangkok, Thailand. This comprehensive programme is meant for professionals who are in charge of quality assurance at the programme and/or institutional level from universities in the region.
